My wife, Barbara and I spent Valentine's Day 2014 fishing for spotted trout and redfish with Capt. Josh Fritz. Not your conventional Cupid's holiday, but lots of fun and lots of fish, a heck of a lot better than sitting around watching TV eating chocolates. Josh is a great boatman and found all the best holes and sheltered coves where the big ones hung out--he gets 5 stars all around. You can't find a better fishing guide or safe boat handler.

My son and I booked a trip with Captain Josh for Thurs. Oct. 31 st.2013. We showed up a little early and Captain Josh was there waiting for us. We went out and did some trout fishing and fished for Reds. Caught quite a few trout, a nice sized red, and a Jack to boot. We both had a really nice time Captain Josh knew right where to go and how to use the bait he gave us to use. He is a very personable guy and fun to be with. We would recommened this charter to anyone. Ray

on 8/29/2013. two of my friends booked a charter with Josh for me. I have been a Rod and Reel repairman for many years in Pinellas,Hillsboro,and Pasco county. As a bonus i got to fish with a lot of captains over the years and he rates right up there with the best of them. I lost about 50% use in my right hand.being right handed made casting a difficulty. josh picked up on it right away and casted for me. I hadn't been redfishing in a while and told Josh we wanted to fish reds/snook/trout. he had us catching snook in the first half hour. keeper reds very soon after and then trout, the trout were big yellow mouths got my first inshore slam since 2009.and there were gag grouper,mangrove snapper,sea bass,shark and several other species caught.I felt he had great timing every time the bite slowed he had another spot to get on and it produced.. all of us would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a charter. we are looking to book him for a scallop/fishing combo next.

My wife & I went down to the great state of Fl. for some Speckled Trout fishing with my lifelong best friend John & Angel Theodore.. We met Capt. Josh at 7am and let me tell ya. THE MAN WILL PUT YOU ON THE FISH!!!!! With Josh you are not riding in the boat all day.You are reeling in fish all day..It was literally NON STOP ACTION the entire time we were out...My little wife kelly got blisters on her hands from catching fish... I've been on out with other guides in the past But let me tell you.They don't get ANY better than Capt. Josh Fritz!!!!! Thanks Josh,We will be fishing with you again real soon!!!!

Capt. Josh is AMAZING! The hubby and I decided last minute that we wanted to go fishing, we had just moved to FL and had a few days before starting work. We called and he originally had hunting plans, and didn't think he could do it that day=( So we were just gonna go to lunch instead...then this Awesome Capt. called me back 2 minutes later and said he could meet us in a couple hours ,so we sped out to meet him...Capt. Josh is so knowledgeable and taught us how to fish the "right" way, we caught some VERY Big Red Fish and saw dolphins on our trip....we have since moved back to Ohio, but we are planning to visit him again hopefully this year, he knows how to make you feel super comfortable and made us feel like we had made a new friend on our 4 hour fishing trip! I would recommend Chase N Tails Fishing Charters with Capt. Josh Fritz to any and everyone who wants to go out fishing and learn a thing or two ,this man knows his stuff!

Monday February 25, 2013 Aripeka 10:30 am.
Captain Josh was on time and waiting for me. Boat run was approximately 15 minutes due to low low tide. I caught the first trout 5 minutes. Two hours later and 21 trout hooked and landed we switched to redfish. This was my first crack at redfish. Took less than 10 minutes to hook the first of 7 redfish we landed. All were over 26 inches. The tide changed and my arms were screaming at me to give them a break. We then headed back to catch a few more trout. Josh had us on fish all day. We were still catching trout when time caught up to us. In addition to all the fish Captain Josh was willing to answer all my question and help me learn how to catch trout and redfish. I cannot imagine a better day. It was the best fishing day of my life. Thanks Captain Josh for a spectacular job.

My sister-in-law was here visiting and we went fishing and had a very great day. Josh is a very knowledgeable when it comes to finding what we all are looking for when we go fishing. We caught really nice sized fish and different kinds all good eating. We would go again and again with Josh. If you want to have a good day on the water, Chase N" Tails is the way to go.

My wife who is a complete beginner caught a Red with her first cast and me with my third.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Josh Fritz. We limited out on trout and redfish and ended up with about 20 pounds of meat. Josh is very helpful and also gave me some fishing tips which has helped me on my personal fishing trips. I highly recommend his charter.

This is my third year fishing with Capt. Josh. I have two children who like myself love to fish decided to cut the learning curve down when we moved to Week I Wachee from Atlanta three years ago and hire a local guide to show us the ropes and keep us safe in new waters. We got lucky and found Josh through Dave @ Precision Tackle in Springhille. We were so pleased that we try to fish with Josh as many times a year as possible to gain more knowledge at different times of the year and different types of fishing. I do have my own boat and my trips with Capt. Josh have taught me the waters without having to buy expensive lower units for my boat. We have found a great guide and also a true friend. If I can't find them I call the Captain!
